Mariner East Pipeline Updates
Cumberland, York and Dauphin counties: Mainline construction of the 20-inch pipeline is nearly complete, and construction crews are completing pipeline tie-in work connecting completed road bores and HDDs. Since February, crews have completed pullbacks of the 20-inch pipeline at seven locations in this project area, including the Susquehanna River drill – a major milestone as the longest HDD on the project. Road bores for the 20-inch and 16-inch pipelines are nearing completion as well. Remaining work includes completing pipeline tie-ins, HDDs, and grading and seeding the ROW where the 20-inch and 16-inch pipelines are installed. New PPL Projects
In the next couple of months, PP&L contractors will begin work on three different projects throughout the Township. They are: Two new 69kV lines, which run parallel out of the future Williams Grove substation and head north towards Diehl Road area. A rebuild of the existing 230kV line, which runs near the Williams Grove substation. A maintenance project to the same 230kV line, beginning from the Williams Grove substation on the west side and running northwest through Monroe Township and up to Silver Spring Township.
