Upcoming Road Closure on West Lisburn Road

Beginning July 19th, a portion of West Lisburn Road at the intersection of Grantham Road will be closed for approximately two (2) months as construction of a new roundabout takes place.  The roundabout construction is part of a new multi-family residential development, known as Oakwood Hills, and it will allow for continued traffic flow between Oakwood Hills Drive, Grantham Road (Messiah College entrance), and West Lisburn Road.  Detour signs will be erected prior to the start of construction.

West Lisburn traffic will be detoured at Market Street, US Route 15, and Mill Road.  The detour will route West Lisburn Road westbound traffic north on South Market Street to US Route 15 south. to the Lisburn Road exit.  The detour will route West Lisburn Road eastbound traffic north on US Route 15 to the Mechanicsburg/Bowmansdale (Route 114) exit, and south on South Market Street to West Lisburn Road.  The detour will route Grantham Road traffic north on Mill Road to West Lisburn Road.  A copy of the detour map is listed here: Oakwood Hills Detour Exhibit w truck.
