The New Roundabout Design at West Lisburn Road and the Intersection of Grantham Road

The new roundabout design at this intersection will allow for continued traffic flow between West Lisburn Road, Grantham Road, and the future Oakwood Hills Drive. Republic Services Implementing New Recycle Guidelines

Republic Services is requesting that Township residents comply with Penn Waste’s new recycle guidelines, which is a result of the current recycling crisis created by China. Remember their slogan…”When in Doubt -Throw it Out.” Please note: Upper Allen Township’s trash hauler is Republic Services. Penn Waste is the only area facility that takes the recyclables collected by Republic Services, so Republic Services customers must now follow Penn Waste’s new guidelines. New PPL Projects

In the next couple of months, PP&L contractors will begin work on three different projects throughout the Township.  They are: Two new 69kV lines, which run parallel out of the future Williams Grove substation and head north towards Diehl Road area. A rebuild of the existing 230kV line, which runs near the Williams Grove substation. A maintenance project to the same 230kV line, beginning from the Williams Grove substation on the west side and running northwest through Monroe Township and up to Silver Spring Township.
